Week 5: Preparing for Launch
Learning Design & Next Steps
Our goal this week is to discuss how to launch our own Self-Paced Classrooms, and how to organize our Learning Management System and classroom for success.
Preparing for Launch
Step 1: Identify
Identify and classify (must/should/aspire) relevant learning objectives.
Step 2: Create
Create practice, mastery checks, and end-of-unit assessments.
Step 3: Record
Plan and record videos.
Step 4: Organize
Organize all materials on your LMS.
This feels daunting, but we can break it down into small chunks.
Plan lesson-by-lesson, and eventually a full unit will emerge.
Also, don't forget to plan those whole class activities like labs, discussions, simulations, and review games.
